Q: What officiant services do you provide?

A: The Wedding ceremonies I offer include: all types of ceremonies:  non-denominational, interfaith, multi-cultural, spiritual, same sex and renewal of vows. Also themed weddings ( i.e. western, renaissance, etc).

Q: Can we choose the kind of ceremony we want?

A:  Absolutely, any special wording, traditions, creative ideas are fantastic and fun!

Q: Is there any type of ceremony that you won’t do?

A: No,  Our motto is “Your Day...Your Way!”

Q: Do you require pre-marital counseling?

A: No, we do not require, however we do support couples getting some type of guidance to help them prepare for the journey that lies ahead.

q: How do you expect payment?

A: I ask for a $200 non-refundable deposit when you reserve the date. The balance will be due two weeks prior to your wedding day.  I have convenient payment options:  Cash, Check, MC, Visa, Discover & PayPal. There will be n additional small fee for using a credit card. If you just need an Officiant we offer services starting at $75.00.

Q: What are the requirements to get a marriage license?

A: In most states the couples are required to apply in person at your local county clerk’s office or courthouse.  (Jackson County, MO, Johnson and Wyandotte County, KS info is included on this site.)

Q: What do you wear at the wedding?

A: I typically wear a robe or a suit.  If you have a themed wedding I will dress accordingly.

Q: What is the difference between you and a judge performing Our ceremony?

A: I perform non-religious and civil ceremonies.  The difference between a judge and a minister is this: A judge is licensed by the state whereas, a minister is ordained by God and the church to perform religious ceremonies, but is also recognized by the state to perform civil ceremonies.  It is your choice whether or not a couple chooses to acknowledge God in your ceremony.

Q: What is an Interfaith ceremony?

A: I recognize that people come from various religious backgrounds and cultural traditions.  Sometimes the couple will accommodate both families by having two different ceremonies to honor their individual heritages.  Most couples however will incorporate both their traditions into one ceremony. Again, I believe that all couples should be honored regardless of their cultural or religious backgrounds.

Q: Do we need a rehearsal?

A: The Intimate package is designed to be a very relaxed experience for you. So no, you are not required to have a rehearsal, but you may add it onto your package for an additional fee.

Q: Will you meet with us before the Wedding?

A: Absolutely, it is always important to meet the person that will be experiencing the most important day of your life with you!

Q: Do we need to sign a contract?

A: Yes, I have a contract that provides clarity around the terms of our agreement and assures that we all are committed for the date and time of your wedding.

Q: WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?

A: Wedding all-inclusive packages range from $899.00 to $1500.00 on average, but each couple and each wedding is unique and depends on any add on’s you select. Officiant Services starting at $75.00. Please contact me for detailed rates.

Q: HOW DO I BOOK YOU FOR MY WEDDING & HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I BOOK?

A: A deposit of half of the total amount & a signed contract are required to reserve your event date. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to the event. My studio only books 40 weddings per year. For weddings, typically 6 months to one year ahead but always welcome those that decide sooner!

Q: DO I GET A DISC OF IMAGES?

A:  Yes you do!

Q: DO YOU TRAVEL?

A: YES! I am always on the go for weddings/events.  Locally as well as many stateside locations.  Cancun, London, Hawaii, Ireland, New York and CA to name a few.  I require airfare, lodging and transportation for these locations.

Q: AFTER THE WEDDING HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE OUR images?

A: You will receive your images in 1-2 weeks.
